Magnetic Bra

Magnetic Bra
I finally jumped off the deep end and ordered the bra from "protege5online.com." Am I glad I did. Take a look at how well the white version matched on my white p5!!!
edit: see below for pics!!!
Again, for less than $50, you can't complain. Now, lets see how long it holds up and holds the moisture out

Great, "Patio" then you will like this piece. It DOESN'T rubb on the paint! It sticks to it and never moves unless you take it off. It's nothing like a fabric bra that you buy from the dealer or the autoparts store. Besides that, as long as the surface on the backside of the magnet is clean, it will not scratch it even if you pull it slightly. I think you have this confused with something else...

Thanks!
I have attached some pics here for you guys to see.....
You can HARDLY notice the trim on the front edge of the hood and then the back edge where to magnet meets the hood. Also notice how well it contours to the hood creases.
What a deal

Arrrrr....you got it in white!! Back then when I ordered mine they only have the black ones and I have a white P5. Yours is very nice and clean and it's almost a perfect match!
But the black ones aren't too bad...it gives a nice contrast with the white and matches the grill color.

easy fix
Go to www.towerpaint.com They will mix you a custom can of white paint the matches the P5 perfectly---they use the paint code for the car, obviously. Then take and clean the top of the magnet REAL good. Apply 2-3 coats and you are done.
That's what I was going to do.

Well, not totally 100%. I finally noticed that after a week of sitting in the 90 degree sun that it is truly flat. I say heat it up as much as you can and get it down as best you can. Then let it sit in the sun for a few days. Every time my wife came home in it, I would run my hand over that spot. Like I said, a week later it's fine.
Good luck!
