Major problem
OK well i have just recieved some white glow guages and i went to install them in my 1999 Protege LX. I installed them but while doing so i had to remove the needles in order to put the face plates into their place. Anyways so i installed everything and put it all back together, but when i put it into my car, none of the guages work, and the needles dont move. Is there anything i can do to fix this or am i f**cked? (sorry for <== language) Another thing is the guages are supposed to light up and it came with the wires but no instructions on how to install it. If anyone knows how to fix any of these probs especially the guages not working that would be great.
Thanks

Uh oh...
Not to be too harsh...but it sounds like your pretty screwed. You may want to take it to a shop and have the install corrected and done right...if it's still possible...as for the needles, I think your in some sh*t. good luck!

Yes you are F_Ked!. you would need to find someone that can recalibrate your gauge(MPH,RPM) once you take out that needle you throw everything off. Or maybe when you put that aftermarket plate on, it might not have enough clearence for the needle to move, more like binding. take it apart and check if the plate is pretty flat or flush and move the needle to see it rubs against the face plate. But most likely once you pull that needle out your screwed.

i thought if you pulled your gauges out
then you basically broke the guages
and those are a bitch to replace ~$400
ask me, i had to replace them
Correct me if i am wrong
once i broke the gauges, didn't bother to hook the lights up(aftermarket)
and yes, the red stock looks nice.....bastards.....j/king....lol
I would like blue bulbs, would fit the scheme of my car nicely

Ahh this sucks so much, i took it to the dealer and its gonna be 900$ canadian dollars just to fix, that doesnt include tax and installation. All this problems for stupid $40 faceplates :@ Anyways i got my rpm and speed to sorta work but my fuel and temp guages still dont work.

just buy the cluster, and then do it yourself
i mean, you already took it out, all you have to do is put a new one in, how hard is this
NOW, DON'T TRY TO INSTALL THE FACEPLATES
it is not worth it
