Best of luck in your legal struggle, but I'm still curious-
Did you know you were buying a 4-lug Protege? And the MSP wheels were 5-lug? And if so, what do you call that?
You're also setting yourself up by cancelling the insurance.
Let us know how this progresses.

and the insurance thing, yes it is signed that i am to "furnish insurance" but the vehicle is now classiffied as NonOperational and is garaged and i gave them the mileage amount on the vehicle and next time they see the car it will have the same mileage on it, therefore no reason to have insurance.....

I have been in touch with the BBB, county DA's office of consumer affairs and the State Attorney General, and the complaints have been forwarded from each agency to the dealership.......the next step if they don't contact me, is to get a letter from them stating that they will not negotiate a settlement with me and then with that letter i can take it to the American Arbitration Association and file for arbitration, and if that doesn't settle it, then a court hearing can be then be made.........i just hope they come to their senses and own up to their mistake, and the sooner the better.......

Just a suggestion, but delete all that crap about the Spec V and wanting that, not this, blah,blah,blah.... and get straight to the point of them agreeing to give you wheels and not delivering.
It will make for a much more professional letter.
good luck

Have you asked the dealership to give you the cost of the wheels ($1200.00?) since the wheels wont fit?
You paid for them in the price of your car, so if they dont fit, take the money.
If you can walk away with $1200.00, i would consider that a good deal that both parties could live with.

i am actually considering exactly that, i don't want this ordeal to go on and on and on, but then again, i've already set so many ***** in motion i don't know if there is any going back! and i don't want to compromise myself and the time i've already put into this, but i will hold off a week, and i am getting the response from the DA's office today hopefully, so by next week i will decide whether to settle that route, or to take it all the way.........

i posted a new thread about a week ago, guess it was missed though.
After not having a car for about a month, i just wanted to end the whole mess and get back in my car! The district attorney contacted the dealership with my complaint, and they were quick to make an offer of a cash settlement of $1400. i was happy, i ordered some nice wheels for $500, they'll install them tommorrow hopefully, and now i got 900$ burning a whole in my pocket! some will go toward paying off credit cards, and possibly my stereo/and or car alarm...
