It's something weird with these cars.. even after 10k kms, when my car sits in the sun, or the heat is on for a while, mine smells like skunk...

Mazda promises a fun ride.. what they don't mention is you'll have to hold your breath the whole time. Gooo Mazda

Mine has no such smell. Never has.

Maybe someone stink-bombed your car.

Perhaps it relates to this?

Not exactly a skunk smell but maybe what you're thinking of?

Complaining about the new car smell? That's odd, I thought it was a typical new car smell. And I miss it too

thanx for the input guys..and thanx for that sulfur smell link.
its not sulfur or rotten egg smell, its a skunk smell. stink bombs
smell different, more like sulfur or rotten egg smell.

my SR20DE motor /exhaust has sulfur smell for a few days
when the temps dramatically changes over 30-35degrees
so i know wat that smells like too (Infiniti).

dang, i should get an air freshner or something, but i think
itll just make it worse with 'added' scent over this ikky smell.

I got an MSP in Feb. It smelled great until yesterday when I actually passed a fresh dead skunk. The stinch has CAKED my interior.

Even hours later it smelled rank. This morning too...I guess time to find some nice smelling stuff to put inside. That skunk killed what little new car smell I had left! Atleast my mazdaspeed floor mats smell good since i took them out of the car when I got it.

BTW I am new to this board. So hello!

I have a MSP with about 5K miles on it and it is still all stock.
