MazdaSpeed Protege

When Callaway built up the turbo system for the MSP, did they send the parts to Mazda, or did the cars go to Callaway Ent. to be tuned?
Also, are the rotating assemblies the same as the regular F-motors (Crank, rods & pistons?). I heard they were still cast parts in the MSP.

They send the parts to the installation facilities at the ports of entry. The turbo/manifold unit is shipped pre-assembled, and the cars come from Japan with the intercooler already installed. The workers then remove the stock exhaust manifold and exhaust and fit the new manifold and turbo, connect all the oil, water and air lines, and install the new cats and exhaust.

The internals are the same.
