The Mazdaspeed Protege...

I have driven the SVT Focus and the Mazdaspeed Protege (a friend owns one), and almost nothing handls as well as the Mazdaspeed... certainly not the Focus.

The build quality and styling I find better on the Mazda's as well...

I'm also looking at buying the mazdaspeed. I've been getting tired of having my truck and wanted something different. After doing alot of searching on dealer websites..... for some reason i never thought of mazda. But i just happened to check out their website outta boredom one day and there it was! It's the only car that has stuck out for me. I mean, sure i like many others but i'm trying to be reasonable with insurance rates and the actual cost of the car. This one fell right in there and seems to be a great deal for what its got! I can't wait to go check it out in person!

BTW.....

Is the mazdaspeed protege a limited vehicle and have fewer made than the others?? Am i gonna have a problem trying to find one? I plan on waiting til the new year to get one, maybe Jan/Feb if nothing comes up prior as far as a good deal.

Thanks

Mike

The Mazdaspeed is a more limited production (not sure how limited), but there are still a few in Eastern Ontario, Canada. Not a bad deal at $25,900, 0% over 48 and don't pay for 6 months...

If only they had a Mazdaspeed Protege5... I really like the huge increase in utility, and the very unique look. I just love the 5!

Ugh whatever you do get rid of the POS Jetta, just got rid of my wifes 94 Jetta for a new P5 and it was a great purchase. I would say based on what I know about the MS and SVT I would got with the MS. The SVT has had a few bugs, and you can not really beat Jap reliabilty over a Ford.
