Mileage with the WOMP

Mileage with the WOMP
Just thought I'd start a new thread since it's more mileage based than WOMP based.
I've run 2 tanks of gas through the car since being boosted full time. Here's my breakdown:
Tank 1: 87octane stock P5 sparkplugs - 18mpg
Tank 2: 93octane stock MSP plugs - 23mpg
both of these figures are from city/highway combined and "pounding on it" about 3-4 times a day.
I'm pretty pleased. I'm getting almost the same mileage with my rich-running haltech under boost than I did with my stock ecu NA....

melted plugs = wrong heat range.
generally, you should go one heat range colder if you are running a boosted engine with stock ignition timing. Remember that thread a while back, where I specified a number of plug options for the car? Check it out again if you get a chance. And, if you have a pic of the melted plug, I would be curious to see which part is melted. If it is the ground electrode, pre-ignition occurred and there could be similar damage to the top of the piston or adjacent to the exhaust valve in the combustion chamber.
And, I am looking forward to hearing more about your SC P5 when I get back to the states. As it is, I have missed out on too many threads!
