Lightbulb MP3 Parts plans/ideas

Hey everyone. This post is all about what I plan to get for my pro, yeah I know its expensive, but I want to have a pretty good idea of everything I want to do to my car whether it be in a few days or a few years, so I can keep track of what I've done and focus on the car once I start working on it. I'd imagine your all sick of posts like this but you guys have been nice so far so I'm counting on you now too and maybe it'll help others get some ideas! So here goes....

Headers - OBX
Cat-Back Exhaust - Still thinking of which company...
Spark Plug Wires - Nology or NGK
CAI - eBay
Motor Mounts - AWR
SS/Bushings - Kartboy
Exhaust Hangers - Kartboy
Clutch - Probably SPEC Stage 3
Cams - J-spec Cams
SC - WOMP!

This is what I've got so far. I'd like opinions on whats up there, if you think theres a better company for that product or whatever, post it. I'd also like to know anything, and I mean ANYTHING, else you think would be a part which is worth the time and money. Even give me some that maybe are only a little useful, but still nice to have or you think are really great, considering I did say I wanted a complete list...! Anything from a bolt/nut and a new gasket, to a battery and a pulley, or forged internals and P&P. All ideas, opinions, and judgements are welcomed, appriciated, and hoped for.

Thank you!!
Scott.

eh. Skip the upgraded spark wires. No gain.

if you are serious about the W.O.M.P. make sure the header is Matty-approved. I believe [let Roddimus Prime speak!] you won;t need the j-spec cam & his kit ships with the air intake...

In preperation for the WOMPing, do the clutch and motor mounts (Select the autotrans ones!)

j-spec cams will work and SHOULD provide a real nice gain as they allow the egine to accept more air.

obx is 100% approved and I believe the wagner will fit as well. You won't need an intake with my kit but the ones off ebay are so cheap it's hard to pass one up now for the time being.

The SPEC clutch is awesome, pedal feel is somewhat grabby but after a few days you'll get used to it. p.s. if you don want this clutch let me know...I think I can get it direct from Spec VERY cheaply....they are about 15 miles from my house.

Yeah, I want that clutch, but just gotta wait for some money after I do a few other things first. Whenever I get the money I'll post or PM to talk to you about doing that...

Keep all opinions and ideas coming please....
Thanks.

with our DIS, the stock wires are more than enough. nology is pretty much all hype, i think. it does look good though.

Red face

Yeah, I dont really need them, but who knows. And they're not a big thing so they would be way after many more useful parts, that list is not in order of which I want to do them...

Common guys, I know you have some opinions and part ideas for me....

Do you happen to have a recording of the sound that you could post?
Thanks

there might be a video...

http://www.mazsports.com/media/Mazda...t_The_Shop.wmv

all that noise is actually coming from his AEM short ram. the exhaust is quiet in comparison. it does sound mean though, doesn't it?

Haha, kind of a weird video but thanks for it! All of the cars look really good! So that white P5 has the magnaflow...what headers does it have?
Thanks again.

Anybody else have any ideas or opinions to help me on my journey...?

Actually...you have a pretty good list going. In fact, it looks a lot like my mods list except I have not upgraded my clutch [yet] and I'm not WOMPy

it didn't have a header in that vid. he bought an essential speed header (AVOID AVOID AVOID) and is still waiting. it's been 9 months.

Slightly off topic here (but no more so than than^ )

Did you want to swap ECUs once you are WOMP'd and you are using the Haltech?

I STILL WANT A MP3 ECU.
