This is far from stalemated. I've done what I can do for now. The manufacturer listed a 4-6 week lead time on the hardware so I'm just waiting like you guys.

Just FYI, I had to buy $350 worth of subscription to the mazda tech support site for access to the maps. I hope I get my money's worth out of it!

 

i'm kinda glad to here that. i got screwed out of a bunch of hours for this paycheck. got it worked out but i have to wait till my next check to get the $$$. thanks for the update.

I have a confirmed shipping note from my rep... no real timeframe on when it 'll be in my hands but it has been billed to my account and the factory told him it was sent already.... should be soon guys.

I'm going to create a brand new thread for this as soon as the package arrives. I'm also going to work out the details for those wanting to operate on a CORE system. If you need to operate on a CORE system you'll probably have to wait in line (based on who pays first). I only have one CORE ecu to use and I'll have to wait for the returned unit to make it back to me prior to sending it out to the next customer...this process could be very time-consuming but it would ensure 0 downtime of your car....

honestly, that is not the best way for me to do this though...but I will do it anyway. I have to actually borrow a local p5 to do this and everytime someone wants one done I'll have to borrow his car. The more I can do in one afternoon the better. I may even offer a bigger price break just to do them all in one day as opposed to one-off's.

when this is ready by the middle to the end of the month so i can send you my ecu around the 24th of may since i will be on vacation for about 2 weeks so it wont matter i dont have a ecu cuz my car wont be driven anyways.
