MP3 wind noise

I have a 2001 MP3 and from time to time there is a fairly loud wind noise (at highway speeds) that seems to be coming from the front driver's side. I thought it was a cross wind, but I would expect to hear it on the passenger's side as well, which I don't. I read about the windsheild wipers causing noise but I'm pretty sure that isn't it.

Has anyone experienced this as well? Any suggestions on where it is coming from?

Thanks.

I have noticed some wind noise on the driver's side of my brand new (<1 week) P5. It seems to come from the top back corner of the driver's side door window as if it is not sealing fully when in the closed position.

I am going to play a little with some very small amount of gasketing material pushed into the upper corner to see if it makes any difference.

There seem to be some other rattles that I will need to track down (sun roof inside cover when closed and something over on the passenger side), but maybe I am being over sensitive as this car has so much less noise than the one that it is replacing....

I think I read this in the FAQ. I here a whistling sound when I hit 90mph. I have been told this is caused by air passing thru the windshield wipers.
