Unhappy MP5 Problems Back!!!

OKay.. Back to square one. i'll briefly describe what i have done. see if you can figure this one out.

Installed COld Air Intake. Worked great for a few days. Idle started ot get wonky. Check enging light came on. Idle got back. When car warm doesnt like to turn over...

FIXED IT! vaccuum leak. or so i thought. idle started up again.. but would jump from 900 or lower to 1500RPM. CLost to stall.. and when driving the idle jump STILL HAPPENS!?!?!

SO.. Changed the spark PLugs, gapped per Manual SPecs. installed.. left Negative batt. connector off all night. then did the break thing for a minute... Reconnected everything then the battery.. NO check engine light BUT!!!! still have the F*****G idle thing... the ONLY thing i can think is a dirty injector.. anyone have any other suggestions?! Cause this is really starting to **** me off..

Any help would be great thanks!

It might be a faulty EGR valve. I'd take it into the dealer and have them check that out.

I have the exact same problem with my 02 p5 with a SRI and a monsterflow filter. Do you suggest taking the SRI off ane replacing it with the stock airbox when visiting the dealer? Would they mind if I had my SRI on when they look at the motor?

Thanks for your help, Brad.

It didn't matter for me when I took mine into the dealer. But just to be safe if you are concerned about warranty issues (I've heard some dealers giving guys a hard time with mods), I'd probably change the car back to stock and then take it in.
