MPV windshield wiper conversion

Any one remember what the part number was or the years of the MPV to get the windshield wiper control arm was? I'd like to start looking/searching the wrecking yards for one. I tried the search function and it didn't work! Thanks in advance.

there ya go....and this works like a champ too....I did it to both of our P5's.....

I told the service manager about this at my dealer and he was amazed....

I told the internet sales guy at Mazdastuff.com and now that part is listed in their online catalog....

if you go to a local dealer that part new will run you about $90....if you want it new.....go to mazdastuff.com....even though its a dealer...if you buy it over the net they only charge you $75.

sorry...no....well you can't use the MPV stalk...the reason being...the sedan doesn't have a rear wiper now does it?

what you have to do is find an importer and import the stalk from 99+ European 626. The part # for that is GE6M-66-128.

What is the difference w/ this wiper?
I haven't heard of this till now!

If someone has a picture of it installed, that would be nice!

the difference is......look at YOUR intermitten wiper feature...its either ON or OFF....just has one speed....and its usually always the WRONG speed...either too fast or too slow....

the MPV and the european 626 came with an ADJUSTABLE intermitten wiper for the windshield...and its built into the wiper stalk....the stalks look almost IDENTICAL with the exception of a tiny dial you turn to either slow down or speed up the wipers......

its litterally a 15 minute job to swap them out.....if you will go to the HOW TO section of the forum there is an entire thread on this mod.
