Short-term memory loss? You started this same thread a couple days ago.

I think I ruined his day in the other one.

well in this thread he's asking what he can do to the car.

For starters I'd get a catback exhaust, a cold air intake, then an upgraded side mount intercooler (there aren't any decent FMIC kits available anymore last I checked. I have the hiboost FMIC on my car and the fitment isn't that great, it could stand to be a little less tall. my bumper can't bolt on to the car along the entire bottom edge in the front now).

If you do go the front mount intercooler route, if you can source an iON it's an amazing piece of art. Another great one is the Bell Engineering ('begi') kit.

Check www.protegegarage.com and www.speedcircuit.com for all your upgrade needs. www.onlinemazdaparts.com is great for looking up OEM parts and getting them at a great price (it's a dealership in NC that actually understands the internet age).

www.corksport.com has a lot of stuff but one warning is to be wary of their downpipe. It has incredibly weak welds and unless you have the full set of AWR (www.awrracing.com --they make aweeeesome engine/suspension stuff) poly motor mounts, don't even think about it.

If you have any specific questions let me know. I know I don't have an MSP but I have the MSP turbo kit (ECU, callaway manifold, GT25R turbo, corksport downpipe (re-welded as of yesterday), some of the MSP suspension goodies (the rear sway bar, tokico HP struts), and even the pedals, floormats, speakers, etc because I'm a ricer like that --plus I've been on the mazda forums (not this one until recently) since Feb 2004 very actively so I've done a ton of reading about various questions/concerns with MSP owners.

People have trouble with every aftermarket brand - I remember a guy who ordered a sweetass oil pan from AWR and the welds were **** and leaked oil. Sometimes its safer to buy lightly used parts (mazdas247.com has a very active sale section) cause you know they were at least good out of the box.

What turbo lag? I'm at full boost (5.5psi during the summer) by like 2400rpms. Are you feeling a sudden surge of power at high RPMs? I get that too, but that's not turbo lag, because I'm already at full boost long before that happens (it happens around 4k rpms and at 5500rpms). I think for me it might be cam-related as I'm not stock in that regard and never was when I was turbo

Sorry, mate! I thought my cute little emoticon would indicate the lightheartedness of my comment. Didn't mean to stir up any emotions.
