Msp wheel offset question
#3
Put them on my mx6.The factory offset on my car is 42.I am currently using a set of fd's and using a 5mm spacer.I was just hoping the offset wasn't 50+ cause I am already close to my struts.-Justin

+42 offset I believe, I remember reading about it on the other forum (msprotege) and I think it was +42. It's an exact answer ... but it's better than nothing eh?

+55 mm
Here is the definitive answer you've been waiting for. The offset on Racing Hart wheels that come with the MSP is +55mm. Yes, it really is that high.
You can troll this forum (and others) all day and not find an accurate answer. I own two sets of MSP rims (one for track tires, the other set with full tread). I searched for a long time for an inexpensive set of 17x7s I could beat up on the track. In the end, I gave up and bought a 2nd set of MSP rims.
On the inside of the rim, on the back of each spoke, there are five stamped markings.
1. DOT
2. Hart
3. Enkei
4. MPS2
5. J 17x7 JJ 55
There you go.
