my **** hurts

i think i got raped by the parts guy at Mazda last night. I got the luminics bulbs i ordered the other day and when i put them in i noticed that the rubber seal was missing which was causing my driver's side headlight to point down to far. so i found the part number i needed and went to get the part last night after work. the guy at mazda got the part and when he went to print the bill out he just kinda stared blankly at the computer screen for about 15-20 seconds, looks at the part, looks at me, and then he says "that's an expensive little part... your total is $34.08." My jaw hit the counter and i asked him if he was serious. sure enough it said right on the screen $34.08. i find it hard to believe that a small rubber part cost almost $35.

the part i need is #5 in the picture below. anybody have an extra or know where i can get one a little cheaper?

Hmmm, maybe you should just try adjusting it a little. I drove my car around without that little rubber thing for a few weeks before I found it and it was just fine. Was I just lucky?

And those are the ones that are blue or green or yellow or whatever right? I'd like a good review as I'm interested in this if HID doesn't work out for me.
