You already have this stuff or is this your plan?
Post pics if you have it.
I don't think you'll have any problem getting someone to trade for your ECU.

I have an '03 ES model and I would be willing to trade ECUs with you. Only thing is I won't be able to do it until early February when I get home. Let me know.

you're buying a pipe bender? Must be nice to be rich. A mandrel bender STARTS at $50K. Wagner's bender was $80K.

p.s. if you're looking at those silly hydraulic benders from harbor freight that look like a bottle jack you'll be upset. It wont make tight radiused bends and they'll be crushed in the middle. Just buy pre-bent pipes and cut/weld them together.

not buying the expensive one from harbor frieght will be just fine.. 2.5 press bent will be more then sufficiant enough for the money that is put into it.. knowing that performance is a factor you have to look at what i am working with.. minimal money and expense rather spend 20 bucks on some mild steel and make the BOV flange and bend the pipes for myself then spend 200+ on individual pipesjust to run a SMIC not starting a fight but.. you have to look at it as a cost issue more then time

I'm not trying to start a fight either but you have to ask yourself. Who has more experience making intercooler set-ups and charge pipes?

I know what you're wanting to do and it's not going to work like you think it will. Sometimes it's better to spend a little more up front than to buy a bunch of stuff and realize it won't work the way you thought.

If you go back through the WOMP thread you'll see I did the exact same thing you want to do and it wouldn't work so I ended up having to buy all new pipes and start over from scratch. Just trying to save you some money in the long run.

you also have to look at what/where u were running your pipes and how much more you have to run on ur set up compared to the amount of pipe im gonna have to run. im not making them solid pieces by far and i can understand your trying to help b/c u have been there and done that. Even though i am sure you have had people say im gonna do it my self and make it work or they tell you the situation is under control and they can get the job done right and the way they expect and im gonna tell you just that :P..

my dad and i have been working on cars combined for over 60 years *thats me and him added not togethor cause thatd be weird* and he has seen it all and the custom stuff he has done to make things work on his domestics work just as well on my imports.. we will see what happens and if im wrong i wont hesitate to tell you u were right but.. we will have to see what happens

ok.....good luck.

what metal are you wanting to use for the pipes and where are you getting it from? I buy all of mine from Burns Stainless. They have quality stuff.
