NEED HELP!!!! Damn rear bushing problem...
Here is the deal, I've long since sold my MSP but my buddy has one and he's thinking of getting rid of it for a HonDUH!!! He's so aggravated with the bushing problem and the radio not flipping around he's ready to sell it. He's had the rear bushing replaced 3 times now and the problem keeps coming back. I'm curious if there is an aftermarket bushing that replaces the stocker that actually works. I know the geometry of the swaybar is to blame but there must be a better option. Since his car is no longer under warranty will the dealer have to keep replacing these bushings because it's been an ongoing problem since the car was new? Also, he's had 3 radios replaced because the flip unit gets stuck and the motor dies so the radio needed to be replaced. If this happens again will this also be covered because it was an existing problem? I'm trying to convince him to keep the car so please help me out.
I did a search but didn't find what I was looking for.
Thanks,
Pete
