Need some info on Standard fill up ASAP!
Hello all, I changed my fluid last night, I put 3 quarts in,
(synthetic)I used a clear piece of hose, instead of buying a pump, and that worked great for free. But once I was done putting all 3 quarts in the trans, I pushed my pinky finger in the fill hole, I couldn't get it in very far, just enough to go past the inside wall, and I could not feel any fluid or get any on my finger. This doesn't seem normal to me! I also fill my other trans up to the point where I can get it on my finger. , I didn't do this for the MP3, because I assumed the manual was correct. Has anyone else had this low fluid symptom?
The car was level at time of filling it. Please give me your experiences ASAP, as the wife is driving it as I write this.

This may seem odd, but when I drained the old fluid out, it appeared to be around 5 quarts in the pan!
I only say 5 quarts, because I use the same pan to drain my oils and my RX takes 5 quarts and it was exactly at the same mark I made on the pan!
