New guy.. Here's my offical intro.

Hey all.. Just thought I'd introduce myself...

I've been around the Rx7 community, esp here in DFW for awhile, but now I've got a Protege5 as well.

I bought it used off a guy in Plano, not sure if he's on the board or not, but I doubt it... The car had a bit of ra rice infection, but I'm working on that... Anyway here's my stuff.

2002 black P5 base, 5spd 20k miles
the good:
H&R springs
B&M shifter
Some loud muffler (proly gonna go)
kenwood Headunit w/ 2x8" subs
Injen Intake
Presitge Alarm (dear gawd the thing is complicated)
painted calipers?

the gone:
he painted the emblems red (gone)
All the frikken bulbs are blue! (what's a good high beam replacement bulb?)
IT'S EVEN GOT SQUIRTER BLINKEYS! (definately gonna go)
oh, and ya can't forget the stick on hoodpins... (already gone)
Monster tach, a/f gauge, oil press gauge all on A-pillar (already gone)

Here's a couple pictures for your amusement (before pics thanks you)

that's about it...

here's a few pictures.

Car looks nice... I'd personally keep the calipers red and also the emblems... I think the red accents are real nice! Other than that, looks good.

nope.. I'm up on the North side of Ft Worth around 820 @ 35W.

The paint on the emblems is already gone.. It wasn't done very well and was chipping already. The red calipers will stay. They look kinda cool, and woudl be a severe pain to do anthing about...

nope.. haven't sold the tach yet, but I will...
anyone want it?

I'm keeping the a/f & oil pressure gauges to go in the other car.

I also have a dual a-pillar mount thingy. It's a universal fit, so not that great, but I don't need it.

Well here is the model.

http://www.jegs.com/cgi-bin/ncommerc...44&prmenbr=361

It has a red shift light, not the usual amber one. It's a 10k w/ external shift light, not sure if it's memory or not... Either way they're about $100 new.

$50 plus shipping (or pickup if local) sound good? I don't have the instructions on exactly how to wire itup, but it's just 4 wires... not hard.

All mounting hardward incl.

That would cover my cost for the new plastic a-pillar form teh dealer since this one has holes all drilled in it.
