new member, met some regulars at CFLAPP1 picnic
Hi, I am a first time Mazda owner, bought a Seabreeze 02 Protege LX sedan in May. Have owned several domestic compacts over the years (2 Escorts & 3 Saturns), this is my first Japanese car. I love this car, it is (so far) superior in every way to the others I have owned.
I have read thousands of Protege posts over the past 5 months, finally decided to begin posting after meeting FoxyMazda, blue LEDz, Rider69, YellowMP5, and others at CFLAPP1 yesterday.

It was pretty quiet, only 10 cars until later in the day, then 6 more showed up from Tampa. FoxyMazda was kind of bored and couldn't sit still for very long. Rider69 and others took pictures which I'm sure they will post.

Welcome to our happy little corner of the net, and to our Club. There are TWO BIG fridge'S in the corner with anything you can think of in them...help yourself...of course only take what you can LEGALLY have. (stash)
make yourself at home on one of the big fluffy couches, kick your shoes off, put your feet up on one of the tables, yes we are allowed to do that, mom don't care....and take it easy.
oh...btw....every once in a while a food fight breaks out...so you may not want to wear nice clothes here.

yeah, it was nice too finaly meet the people behind the posts. There weren't as many people as I expected and the tampa contingent took awhile to get there 
but it was still fun. I am glad I went. Those who went to the HIN, did you have fun?

what happened is, i tried to kidnap foxymazda and i stuffed her in the trunk of her car. but she had the key with her. so while trying to hot wire her car, the cops showed up and let her out. the video is of that. btw, the cops let me go after i showed them my car and the engine.
