Hello everyone,

I financed a Mazdaspeed Protege (in Titanium) on Monday, and I'm loving the car so far (even though I can't push it hard until she's broken in).

I just wanted to introduce myself to the board.

Yes I just joined this board a week ago and I only found friendly people here. Quite a difference from more general car forums where flame wars are common.

We're here to learn from each others. That's the greatest thing.

I have to agree. On mazdamp3.com or w/e they got like ten different names they flame on your very badly.

Thanks everyone!

Unforuntately I won't be able to make the trek up to CT in September, my work schedule is made a month in advance and I'm stuck working 7a-7p on the 6th.

Do I plan on doing anything with the car? Yes, eventually...intake is going to be the first. The exhaust on the Mazdaspeed could be better, but it is much better than most stock exhausts, so I'll keep that stock for a while. Definitely a boost controller set at 9-10psi, but I haven't decided to go with a manual or electronic one yet.
