New Protege 5 owner here.

Hey all, just traded in my Spec-V and got a 02 Protege 5 dark blue with 12,000 miles on it. I love it! I will post pics soon when I have time.

What made you get rid of your Spec-V?

The Protege 5 is more practical for me right now. In the Spec I was too worried about staining or ruining the cheap seats and more. Yeah it was quick and fun to drive, but the P5 is just as fun and I like the look just as well if not more.

It is nice to have someone else love their PR5. I know what you mean about those seats in the SPEC-V. They are pretty ugly.......my GF drives a 01' sentra GXE with lots of options. Just does not look as good as the Protege, but is a nice car. Does not drive as nice as my ES did and my PR5 now. I am sure the SE is a little tighter then the GXE and has a little more power. Glad you are happy.
