New Protege5 owner
Hi everyone. I am new to this scene, and I wanted to share with everyone how happy I am with my new P5. I traded my piece of garbage 1996 Pontiac Sunfire in for it. This new car is the best handling vehical I have ever driven. It looks so cool, inside and out, and comes with so many features. 16" alloys! The car's power is average, but what can you expect for $21,000 Canadian. Everything about this car is great except for the stereo. I am financing so I'll likely replace that soon. One thing I have noticed is that the P5's after market sales are likely to match that of the civic, because the P5 is a relatively low-priced car and lots of people like to modify them...and they are japenese so they will last (unlike my lousy GM that fell apart after 100,000km! Anyways, I reccomend this car to anyone interested in buying it. You won't be let down.

CAI = Cold Air Induction
Basically you replace the stock air intake tubes with one, more direct tube. It's supposed to give you more horsepower, and improve your throttle response but it makes your car louder (or noiser, depending on your point of view) as well.
Welcome to the club, but knw this. Your car will never be fast. Unless you spend over 4,000 dollars on a turbo kit, just sit back and enjoy the ride.
