New tails

At some point, I know I've seen Euro lights with a paintable housing, though I've been looking and can't find them. Anyone else seen them? Please post links.

You can paint all of them. You need to cook them in an oven to pull the clear plastic cover off the housing. The heat will soften the glue.

So you can paint the chorme or carbon fiber lights? What do you use to glue them back together? How do you make sure they are water-tight?

It wasn't on a Protege, but I took apart a headlight capsule before and used a "Plumber's Glue" to put it back together, nice and watertight. I just picked it up at the harware store. It dried clear and was quite a bit stiffer than silicone.
