Nice research, but just for clarification, that's not the Mazdaspeed Pro's engine, it's the FS-ZE with the J-spec cover. It seems that North America was the only region to get the FS series without that sweet *** cover on it. Why, I don't know, but the 2 main pieces and the mounting hardware are available from the dealership. The MSP and MP3 were theo nly cars imported to North America with the cover as OEM equipment.

How many of you guys want the engine cover as badly as I do?
Maybe we should do a group order for the engine cover.

I talked to Maxx Mazda about that one and he told me it'll cost a small fortune to get it. Mounting hardware, vavle cover, the piece itself...to rich for my blood.

Ya, I already checked into it. You'll need the metal valve cover, a valve cover gasket, the bolts for the plastic cover, and the plastic cover itself. I think it worked out to about $400 CAD for it all. An alternative is to contact DGM and see if you can get jsut the mounting kit for their CF cover, and use it with the mazda one, thus eliminating the need for the new metal cover. Just a thought.

The rear cupholder looks like its a simple add on to the existing console. Unfortunately everything else looks far from a simple add-on. Maybe they should sell the PR-5 abroad and let us buy the Familia with all the cool stuff.

Also any idea on the price of the Japanses spec cams. A dyno chart would be real nice too.

Ive been looking for cams too. Ive asked someone else on this forum and they told me custom cams would be like 160.00 or something. Makes you wonder what the cams from Japan would cost?

The dealer i talked to said they get the parts from Japan, genuine madza cams... and they sell it installed for $600...

Still really want the Chrome Side Blinker Thingy (C100V3770) anyone have any idea where to start looking? or a price?

I think they'll really work well with my silver P5!!!

If you could also ask about any cams for the 1.6 liter when you talk to them. I can't find any at all.
