I'll let the thread starter decide. It's his thread after-all

*corection*
All SHO models between '89 and '95 with manual transmissions had 3.0L engines. All SHO models between '92 (1st year of the auto) and '95 with automatic transmissions had an engine rated at 3.2L. This has something to do also with the base chassis. the 1st generation cars (89-91) rode on a modified taurus platform originally intended for the police cruiser. 2nd gen models rode on a standard platform with reinforced suspension mounts and sway bars. Anyway the 3.2L is an automatic powertrain-- the 3.0L is a manual powertrain. So we were both right... and wrong in a way...

Couldn't help myself, had to look it up

mine was junk, but it would roast a cobra in the quarter mile. I did it every weekend and could fit a cooler full of beers in the trunk.

that's impressive. can't say that i've ever heard of anyone having that much of a problem with water leaking into the trunk of they're GA. have you looked at GA Owners Club yet? Could be very helpful to you if you haven't come across it yet.

Tell me about it, all people drive around here are grand ams....iz craZ. Only Pontiacs I like are the, Firehawk and the Vibe and Aztek.

CtrlAltDel did you get your protege yet? I think you'd be more happy with it over the grand am from the sounds of it. I wrecked my old car which was a kia but was a very good car. I loved it a lot. I wanted to get a car with good reliability caz I can't afford repair costs so thats why I chose my Protege, that and the fact I've always liked them an the particular color I got

I'm not saying the MSP is the best thing on the plant but it's pretty nice....and much nicer than the GA.
