After a short break from painting...I decided to get back on the horse and paint the lower bumper lights a nice smoked color.....well...they turned out black....lol...oh well...it's the theme of the exterior anyway.

What do you guys think? It would have been significantly lighter had I painted the clear versions. The fact that they are amber don't really help...lol.

And no comments about how dirty the car looks...I know it's dirty...it's a white car for goodness sake (and this was after I drove to ATL & back.

And no comments about rims either....next month buddy.

can the light even get through the amber of the plastic and then the black paint?? seems like it would drown out any light. You may want to switch the little bulb out for one of those super bright white lights to get some light visable from there.....

I'm sure hoping so...lol. I wanted to check it last night, but I fell asleep after I decided to rewire some stuff so I can get the PS2 in and out easily.
I'll take a shot or 2 tonight though.

I wasn't going to sell mine...I was going to ACTUALLY paint them right then & there...her payment would be to wash my car like Paris Hilton...right Karen? Soapy suds, bikini & all. j/k.
I'd be willing to hook your lights up for ya and we can discuss the trade there...either way...I'm game to get my grind on to help out my fellow club members.

the light should shine thru just fine i did my taillights with black spray paint and they light up just fine looks great bro!

My car doesn't have side markers or those lights on the bumper.
I gonna put the side markers on though and was considering the bumper markers.
What do you think?
It'd be the first one in Trinidad to have them on. (on the bumpers I mean)
