Oil Change on MSP
I did my first service on my MSP, I brought it to dealership, and they didn't put in synthetic oil, they put some oil that was 530w, or something like that. I'm just curious if they screwed up or not? or does the MSP not take synthetic??? I thought all turbo's took synthetic, and i was curious what effects I will get if non-synthetic oil was put in.
Thanx

So you have to ask the dealership for IT!?!?...... I thought it is mandatory for the dealership to put synthetic oil in the MSP.......... So I don't even have an argument against them for putting in non-synthetic oil???

LOL.... it depends on the dealership. Some dealerships care more than others. Like my dealership, will only put premium fuel in the 6, and RX8 when you first buy them, all the rest get 87 octane. Its all about the bottom line. I'd start changin my own oil if you were worried about it.

don't know how to get rid of old oil...here's a trick i've been using for years...when you buy laundry detergent, get the bigger liquid ones...once its empty you can rip out the little plastic spigot part and it leaves a big hole to pour old oil back into...then take it and throw it into the barrels they have outside at Advance Auto or Discount Auto Parts or Autozone
