Oil leak

I noticed some black drops from my parking space when I pulled out today, so I stoped, and look under the car, right on the oil drain plug I saw some oil hanging. I wasn't sure if that's what it is, so I clean the leak with a towel and noticed that it was brown close to black. Does anyone know where the leak is coming from? or have any ideas about this?

Leaks suck!! If its black/brown, most likely oil. Sounds like maybe you're do for an oil change if its that dark anyway. When you change the oil, do like centsless says, and replace the drain plug gasket as well, crank that plug to about 25 ft/lbs. lube the new filter gasket with a drop of oil and tighten it by hand as tight as you can. That would be the easy fix, if it still leaks, post back, we'll have to go from there. Good luck
