Online Manual

I had been looking for a reference site with Protege (Sdn) manual and/or parts info. Negative on the second part... Other than this site <SOMETIMES> But I did find for the 2002 Protege Sedan and Protege 5 Wagon this site. CHECK IT OUT!

Re: Online Manual Find

Hey, I had to share this find. And while it IS specifically for the 2002 year, I haven't noticed any big changes in the years. I'm a Sedan Man, but Style wise I'd prefer to be riding in the P5.

I am also looking for an acrylic (smoke) hood protector. Anybody got one that they can clue me in to the manufacturer? Thanks All!

I'm not answering that on the grounds that I might incriminate myself. I do know in the past if someone even thought about posting something like that, they would get a verbal lecture and it would be gone quicker then you could say RTFM.......I'm still nursing those whip burns!!!

I agree. In order for it to maintain a nice illegal resource for us to use, the URL is best shared in a non-public manner such as PM or e-mail.

Wow these mods kick ***!

I already had the manual from a previous attempt to share it which was quickly shot down.

Damn, I was needing 2 beers. Thanks ! I'm not going to comment on the manual...That site has been around for a while, and I'm surprised it still is. Let's just say we are a bit more tolerant now. However notice no moderators are endorsing this website. I will refrain from using it myself because there are legal issues involved.

Well gentlemen I stand corrected. I had posted this <improper> site thinking resource, not taking the various legal issues into account.

My biggest problem with Mazda is a distinct lack of imformation. Both in terms of referenced part numbers, although some p/n's are posted here, as well as the simple fact that you can't find a wiring diagram to save yourself.

I know that Mazda USA is out to make money, but they should not be crippling their customers (mentally AND financially) to do so.

In the future I will be more observant of the copyright laws.

You aren't doing anything wrong, the owners of that website are...I just don't promote it because its not legal for them to have it up...It isn't illegal for you to access it while it remains active

yeah I wasn't implying that you were doing anything wrong all I was saying is that in the past, when anyone posted that they got chewed out........personally If I had posted that I probably wouldn't have posted the actual site, just let everyone know that it's available and at which point if anyone wanted they could PM me to find out where it was......that way it's more discrete......and less likely to be pulled off the web.....plus I think that the reason in the past why it was frowned on was because it MIGHT expose the owners of this site to possible legal prosecution.........i'm sure just being difficult must have come into the mix somewhere in there too...
