Cool P5 Heating Question- Does your suck?

I've taken my car into the dealer once and almost twice due to I barely get any heat.
Yes, I have an aftermarket stereo and they have checked it. From what they can tell it looks fine. The guy at the dealership says that these cars have small heating coils and don't provide alot of heat.

Am I the only one who's Pro 5's heat doesn't melt the skin off your face? I'm really irritated by how cold it is.

And yes.. my coolant levels are fine and my car does hit the normal temperature range when it's running.

Suggestions? Comments? Am I alone with this problem??

mine sucks too it takes about 20 min just to get warm that and ever since i replaced my radio the **** which selects "vent, floor, defrost etc..." doesn't turn all the way so i can't defrost at all i was thinking about having my thermostat checked but i dunno if that'll do anything?

My car does take longer to heat up inside than other cars I have owned.
When it's really cold, like the last few days, it seems to take 15-20 mins for the inside to get nice & toasty. Even longer when running any of the defrost modes.
Once it warms up, though, I can keep the temperature pretty steady.
I also have read that our heater coils are undersized...

I don't notice the heater being that bad (but I did come from driving an 85 full sized Blazer, anything is better than that), but I do notice that if I hit the power window switch when I have the heater cranked up, the air flow dies down. Damn weak electrical system.

Thats because under your dash (where your pedals are...) there is the cable..it prolly just slipped out or was never put back into the clip. Check that!....The heat cable (cold and hot) temp is behind the glove box..that cable often slips out too!!..Happend to me when installing my stereo.
