Protege 5 headlights
I have a headlight issue. Turned on the lights and the low beams do not work while everything else does, fog lamps, parking lamps, and high beams.
Checked the fuses and they are in working order. The lamps themselves appear to be in good shape and I have never seen both lamps retire at the same time.
Anyone have an idea what may be going one?

Check the light relay (panel under the hood IIRC) . Swap with a similar one and see if that solves it. Also, it is not 'impossible' to just have both fail in a short span of time. You may want to pull a bulb if the relay is good.
Lastly, there is (again, IIRC) a fusible link in the wiring, This could have failed also. Check for power at the bulbs after the relay and bulb are good...
