anyone knowing anything about cars knows what a plug wire looks like... Those haven't changed in about 56 years.
Either way, the dude didn't know what was going on but now they do.
I'd suggest using NGK Iridium IX plugs and either NGK plug wires or OE wires (also made by NGK).
