Question about RPM's and Noise
I notice alot of rattling and whinning when I am in any gear and accelerate past 2000 RPM. The noise comes between 1900-2100 RPM and sounds kinda like a belt wants to squel and loose heat shields. I checked the exhaust thoroughly and cannot find any loose heat shields. I tightened up the belts to the point where if I tighten em any more I'm going to throw out a bearing or something. These noises are driving me frickin NUTs. It's not the VTCS either..I don't have it. It's a 99' ES 5spd. Please help if you can..Thanx
