Well, I'm nowhere near the amount of ownership that you all guys have, but so far, my stats are:
3550 miles in 4 weeks and 3 days, averaging to 115 miles/day. If I keep this up, I'll be rolling with 41k on the odometer by the end of one year. However, the higher average is because of various visits and trips, which will decrease in the future. Realistically, I expect 100 miles/day (if I keep going places on weekends, that is), which should ring her up at 37k at one year.

I have 48,961 miles and i bought it on November 2001 with 13 miles. But I wrecked it on December 3rd, 2001. $12,000 damage, 5.5 months to fix. So in all reality its only been a year and a half of driving.

Milage
I think i've got most people beat with the time frame that i've had it. I got my 2002.5 p5 on September 1st 2002 and it had 8 miles on it. Today the 23rd of june i had right at 25,000 miles. Oh and let me say that i'm 19 living in atlanta. and i've only been out of state once and that was this past weekend. I should be crownd milage king dammit. hahaha

March 7, 2001 = 2 miles leaving the lot with no test drive
June 26, 2003 = 70,057 miles parking in the garage as of right now
I can easily put ~ 34,000 miles a year...

OK, lil Elroy thinks he should be crowned the mileage King! Sit down junior and listen up. You, are not the mileage King!
I bought my first Protege in August of 91 brand new and kept it for 3 years. I managed to put 95K miles on it before I traded it for a brand new 94 Protege.
I kept the 94 for 4 1/2 years before a woman in North Carolina decided to park her Ford F-250 on the roof of it on I-40 outside of Asheville. This vehicle had 165K miles on it when it was destroyed.
I then had to buy a new car to get back to New York. Needless to say, I bought a brand new 99 Protege! I kept this car for 10 months before trading it in for a small pick-up truck (dumb move). Anyways, the 99 had 31K miles on it when I traded it in.
My fiance had bought a 99 Protege brand new a month before my accident, and just recently wanted to trade it in for a Mazda 6. I wouldn't let her trade it because the car is 4 years old and only had 29K miles on it. So, she still got her Mazda 6, and I got her 99 Protege. I've had it for just about a month and the odometer will hit 32K by tomorrow.
So Elroy, I guess you're not really the mileage King after all. However; I must say that of all the miles I've put on my Mazda's, I have never had to do any serious maintenance to them. The largest expense I've ever had was a new A/C condenser on the 94. And I've never had to touch any of the clutches.
I'll be trying to post some pictures in the near future of all the protege's that I've owned
