Removing side marker lights on a 2002 P5
I noticed the other evening that my driver's side side-marker light is burnt out. I checked the manual (looks around shoulder for Protege Menace and TheMAN... ) and I can't find any instructions on how to remove it to replace the bulb. All it says is to contact my 'authorized' Mazda repair facility.
Does anyone have instructions or a howto to remove these lights. In addition, how about the fog lights...
thanks!

Fog lights have to be removed form under the car. Remove the plastic inner cover (3 screws), actually you can just move it out of the way. There is one nut holding the fog in place (14mm, I think), undo that and you can pull the lamp housing out from the front. *NOTE: you have to releive some slack on the wires by releasing the clip up to the outer side of the fog light bracket. If you look at it all from underneath, you will see what I mean.

In my manual pg 8-36

slide it towards the front of the car and pull it out.
But it is easier to pull out if you are pushing from behind. Remove the screws from the tire well and push plastic piece out of the way to get at light from behind (TURN THE WHEEL OUT OF THE WAY)
