Roof rack carrier???

Hey SoundGuy,
I don't know if you are still around but here's an answer to part of your question.
My wife and I are getting a Hidden Hitch (tm) Class 1 trailer hitch for our P5. The model number (part number) is 60948. We plan to pull a small utility trailer for camping. We intend to pull much less than 1000 lbs, so we figure we are safe to do this despite what the manual says about not towing.
For the record, we were quoted a price of $136.26 CAN here in Calgary at the Hitch Shop. The hitch is a bolt on type that apparently is made for the P5, you will need to remove the existing bolts (they are there to protect the threads and the holes from collecting road crud) and bolt up the hitch with the supplied appropriate metric bolts. You will also need a wiring harness if you plan to pull a lighted trailer.
Hope that helps.
