RustCheck / Krown on '02 Protege
... speaking of rust...
I bought my '02 sedan in April of 2004 and it has never been rust proofed, it's also showing no signs of rust. I live in an area where there is a lot of salt on the roads in winter, so I'm thinking about having it rust proofed for the upcoming winter. Do you folks recommend it? Krown charges $106 (I think), which doesn't seem TOO steep if it's going to help keep my car looking good.
Do you guys recommend Krown or RustCheck? If I do get this done, I'll have to remember to make SURE they don't stick their ugly little sticker on my window. I HATE those stickers.

Never heard of either. What you want to do is get the underbody cleaned frequently throughout the winter. At the end of winter, clean thoroughly. Some of those treatments are not good for your car. They can plug up drain holes, causing a build up of the electrolytic solution.
