ive been looking around, and there seem to be alot coming for the p5, i just haent heard much from the sedan crowd yet.

to be honest i am leaning toward the p5, guess cause i been tinking about it for a while now, but i just saw a black sedan the other day, and well i guess it just struck me the right way.

i envision gunmetal rims, dark tint, and spray on tint film on the tailights mmmmmmmmm black-outed-ness.

Aside from large boxy items, I'll stick my neck out and say the sedan is a much better hauler than the wagon.

You could 4 people and all their luggage for a weekend trip in the sedan much easier than in the P5.

Besides the sedan is five inches longer, so with the seats down you could technically carry a board or a pipe that is 5 inches longer than one that would fit in the wagon.

In the end, it really just a styling preference. I like the P5 but it's not my style. It looks faster... but that is going to make more M3's try to pick on me. I like the idea of a stealth performance car. Gimme an M5 with 525i badges!

I say get the sedan. No matter how you try to spin it the P5 is still a WAGON!

sedan!

although i wished mazda made a 2-door coupe cuz 99% of the time, i only drive myself.

both look great, both have some aftermarket support with more on the way (i hope), but the P5's front appeals to me more (i have a 99 - when there was no P5).

but i still love my sedan.

I like the sedan better. I just don't like wagons. If I needed to haul stuff all the time though I would have looked at the p5. But my parents have a minivan so if I ever need to get something big I can just use it.

Avoid the issue entirely - get a Mini Cooper S!

Cool Nostalgic, I guess....

but I like the p5 because it reminds me of the early 1970s RX wagon that Mazda used to make. Neat lookin little cars!. Every sedan out there looks like my mom would drive it. I don't feel that way about the p5...

humbly opinionated....

Comparison wise...most of the items that I want to put in the P5 are wide and long....previously I had a sedan before this car and I must say that I get more utility out of this vehicle then a sedan.

But honestly speaking...you have probably made up your mind on what vehicle suits you already.

From the remarks that you have posted it seems to me that you are going to get a P5 due to the styling and aftermarket support. But if the only reason that you are getting a P5 is due to the front molding...just remember that you can always buy a sedan and switch the front to match the P5 front.

Also the point of the P5 having 5 inches shorter space in the back was done on purpose...it is so that when you park your rear does not stick out for someone to drive by and scrape with their car. Literally the sedans around you will take the damage...so it happen a few times.
