Soon to be new owners also :)
My wife and I bought a Sunlight Silver PR5 Saturday. Pick up is supposed to be tomorrow evening The car looks great.
Can't wait. It will be my wife's car in which she is trading in her Jetta GL which we are glad to be rid of due to problems with the VW dealer.

Dings - yes I made one two months ago while sweeping out the garage. I step on the broom and it went WHACK! against the rear 1/4 panel above near the trunk. It can be fixed for $50 but just never had time
Only problem I've had is the 1s to 2nd gear grinding - but the tech guy said he fixed it. And the seat cushion squeaked for a bit too.

Hmmm, Protege wins 3 of the last 4 SCCA National Championships, Civic Si wins the other.......
I think 3 is more than 1!
Both are great cars, just different. Civic has power, Protege has torque. Protege wins Mid Ohio, Civic would win at any power track.
Nice Looking Si, btw.
Welcome to the Protege world!

but yeah the Protege has lots more torque - and my engine is high strung - shifting at 8200rpms is fun.
By the way we're picking up the car around 6pm today.
