What's up y'all.

I just picked up a black 2003 MSP yesterday. It wasn't until after delivery that I noticed the dealer forgot LOTS of stuff: keys for the locking lug nuts, the owners manuals for the car and the stereo, the cigarette lighter plug, and the remote for the stereo.

When I went back to the dealer last night, he tried to claim that only the 2003.5's came with a remote for the stereo, not the 2003s. Do any of you know if that's true? This dealer gets an A- for price, but a D or F for the delivery! I'm glad I noticed this stuff when I did - I was too excited about the car to notice at the dealership.

it ABSOLUTLY comes with a remote....I would go back in there and YELL AS LOUD AS I COULD!! Holy hell, I wouldn't take something like that. every person within earshot would know how I feel about them lying to me wheter their intention was deceipt or just plain stupidity.

MAKE THEM BURN!!

 

Thanks Roddimus for the reply. They are working on the problem now - I'll keep everyone posted. There were more problems on top of this - hopefully they'll get resolved too.

I don't think I'll be going back to this dealership. Too bad my favorite dealership sold its Silver '03.5 days earlier.

 

Update: the dealership got the remote for me free of charge and corrected the other problems as well. Finally I can start enjoying this car!

 

Hey how do you know if you have a 2003.5 or 2003? I just got my 2003 brand new and did not get a stereo remote?

 

What color is your MazdaSpeed? If it's black or orange, it's a 2003. If it's grey, silver, yellow or blue, it's a 2003.5. BOTH should come with a remote (as confirmed by Mazda as well).

Now it's time for me to get some info on the alarm system...
