Stick Shift Vibration

Sorry if this has been covered already, haven't checked out this site in a while.

OK, how can I keep this as clean as possible. Has anyone noticed their stick vibrating? How much is normal?

I know that this has been covered before, but I could not locate the thread...

Anyhow, the short answer is that some vibration is normal (how much I do not know) and that because these cars use a direct linkage to the transmission (as opposed to a cable linkage like in some Hondas) there is more vibration translated back to the shift lever.

Thanks JJB,

I have another newbie question...How did you get a picture of your car under your name/info?

it's called an Avatar... you get to specify one in your User Profile once you have a certain number of posts (how many I can not recall).

Good Vibrations...

I also experienced that when I first got my P%. I dunno how long you've had your Protege, but odds are after you drive it for a while, the vibrations will become less noticible, becase either the car breaks in a bit (new clutch, new cables, etc), or you'll just get used to it.
