So you are going to either cut the flange off or make a new flange (that bolts to bot) and just add the turbo? Then get rid of the cat and bolt it to your exhaust. The reason I ask why is because manifolds are relatively cheap as far as components go. You should be able to get one for $400 or so, maybe less. I assume you will by a used turbo and then rebuild it(hopefully). This isn't something you really want to cheap out on. You could piece together a system for roughly 1000-1500 or you could buy one for $2600 with all new parts.
