stock wheel weight

Does anybody know the weight of the stock wheels on the
Protege5? (The non-chrome ones, if that matters.)

I want to get cooler-looking rims next year, but I want to make
sure I'm also decreasing the weight.

Thanks.

Stock wheel and tire weight is 36 lb-I personally put it on scales. 5000 in 195/50/16 weighs 20 lb.
That would make wheel weigh 16 lb which is pretty good. But again it's 16x6(?), not 16x7(preferable)
I considered getting Kosei K1 in 16", but for $200 a piece they weigh almost same as stock wheels, so I passed on it.
You may want to look at Rota wheels, there're groupbuys at groupbuycenter.com but I am not sure about quality.

You won't be able to get the Rotas in the right offset for the 3rd gen from anyone but me, if you order the +45 you'll be screwed. I special ordered the Subzeros in all colors with a custom fitment and they will be arriving in mid Jan. I will guarantee the lowest price on these wheels and the quality is just as good as any other cast wheel.

Rota and Konig are one in the same.

I guarantee that no shop in the united states will have a rota subzero that will not rub on your car if it's 7.5" wide. hehe. Wanna try me? The US distributor for Rota is 20 min from me.

I guess you tried. hehe. I know cause I'm getting them, all of them.

I've been getting all the info. on other wheels, but few will be as good fitting and none as light as the subzero.

For the price I'm gonna get you guys, you'll be real happy to get these. Pick a color, any color. Both 17" and 18".

I'm getting a couple for mine so I can street them and not my SSR's or Volks, keep those for show.

This wheel is from the stock Protege5 wagon. And the tire is a Dunlop SP9000.
