Question Strange noise at high RPM's

Anyone notice a buzzing or whistling sound at high RPM's on the MP3?

I noticed that too on My Protege' 5. At or above about 6000 RPM, the dash will start to make a really rapid buzzing or humming noise I'm assuming from the vibration. Nothing to really worry about, but it is an annoyance nonetheless... Just turn up your radio!

I have had people in my P5 notice. I haven't. He said maybe the driveshaft needed balanced. Its a new car, so I doubt that.

I agree with John. (By the way John, where'd you come up with the "Japper Go Fast" in your sig? I laugh everytime I read it!) It most likely is just the natural resonance of the engine. I wouldn't worry about it at all. It only happens at about 6100 RPM on my car, but if you go just above that to 6200 RPM even, it's gone.
