stupid question here

i installed a mazda speed axel back about a month ago and now i'm seeing a soot like build up around the exhaust tip. it wipes off with a wet rag, but i want to know if there is something wrong with my pro5, before this possibly becomes a real big problem.

hi

If not kept clean the soot will almost turn black and will be difficult to remove w/wet towel or rag. i have found that steel-wool does a great job with bringing back the original finish. mine was pretty bad becasue I did not do a good job during the winter months with my tip. a regular wet towel does a great job with you weekly wash. so don't worry it is normal build-up.....
