Taking out the stock deck

Taking out the stock deck

i was wondering how i could take out the stock deck in a protege5, i jus added two kicker comps wit a fosgate 601s and i connected it to the stock sub, it works but the signal is too weak and it isnt pushin as much as it shud, i need to connect it to the deck but i cant figure out how to take it out. any help wud be greatly appreciated

best thing to do here is go back to the dealership and talk to them. there is 2 little metal key-like things they use to pull it out, and im sure you could use them without a charge.

When I took my stock HU out I just cut some pieces from a wire coat hanger and stuck one in each of the little holes on the front of the deck. You will probably need a second person to help push in the wire pieces while you pull the deck out. Also put some masking tape around the silver trim thats around the deck so you don't scratch it by mistake.
