Tein Springs: USDM or JDM?

"It's a matter of description.....if the site says say....lower by 1.5'' then it's dropped with a stiffer spring constant.....but if it says retains original OEM spec. then it's stiffer ......they are 2 different applications......J-spec. and USDM are different....different markets.....

To answer your question Sully is not easy but once you order what you need you'll be ok.....I'd go J-spec or from the UK for the purchase.....there is always a problem with parts from the US for JDM cars "

Is this true? Because they both have the same part numbers so how true can this really be?

i don't quite get the question you're asking? if you are wondering about the tein springs, there are two types, one is the H-tech and one is the S-tech. S-tech lowers the car by about 2" and is not considered their performance line (much like the eibach sportline springs, where it's more of a slammed look but not necessarily with the performance). H-tech is a more conservative drop but has higher spring rates to really keep you planted in the corners. as for usdm vs jdm, since the suspension for both usdm and jdm cars are exactly the same, i don't see how there are two types of springs for two different markets, especially with the same manufacturer number on the springs.

sorry the top part were in quotes that i read from another forum but yeah, whether it's usdm or jdm they both have the same part numbers so they're the same thing. i was just wondering.

i have been considering gettin' the tein s tech for a while now, but due to limited cash flow that's all i could do...consider.

but you brought something to my attention. you're sayin' the tein h tech springs offer more performance that the tein s techs?

i have been considering the s tech with a set of tokico hp shocks
