To the topic at hand...
Ultra Performance is based in Tucson, AZ. I used to live in Tucson, so I have actually been to their shop. Its TINY!! I don't know how they run a mail order business out of there- besides which, their prices kinda suck.
Funny story about their product knowledge...
At the time I was diving a '00 Celica, I drove up and was looking around the showroom. The sales guy asked if he could help me. I simply said I was wondering what parts were available for my car. He looked out the window at it and says "Well, what is that? A Mustang?"
How the hell does somebody work in an import performance parts shop and not be firmiliar with the cars?
Maybe their mail order staff is more knowledgable, but I doubt it.

Thats not exactly true. I have ordered through them and if they carry what I want, I will order through them again. Two of their workers have Protege5s and I have spent way too much time bullshitting with them. Andy in particular is great. He is very knowledgable about what "will" be available for our cars. He first clued me into the header. As for the prices....they will beat any price you can find....it says that in their add. I got my eibach springs for $200-210+shipping, cheapest I could find and it took four days to get here. They sell the intakes, springs, shifter and a few other small/universal things. They are working on the exhaust systems. When you call, ask to speak to Andy and I'm sure your experience will be great.

Let me clarify my position: The question was asked what people know of Ultra Performance. All I did was chip in my personal experience and, based on that, make an educated guess about their mail order staff. Azrakain, I'm glad your experience was better than mine & I'm glad to hear they're a good source of parts for our cars. I'm glad you WILL order from them again. You don't have to be defiant to me because your experience and opinion differ from mine. Bottom line: though my experiences with Ultra Performance have left something to be desired, I would try them again.
