Perhaps I'm mistaken, but isn't your first tank of gas complimentary? Doesn't it even say so on the window sticker??
Apparently not in my neck of the woods. I made them take it off when I pointed out my old car had 40 litres of gas in it.

HubbMP5,

How much is your interest? If you're paying $350/mo for 72 mo, that comes out to over $25,000 at the end of the term. After interest and everything, I would have paid much less than $20,000 after 4 years for my P5. Just wondering.
My interest is 8.5%- which was low at the time (last June, I bought the 1st MP5 from my dealership). The car was $17,500, I bought extended warranty & gap coverage, lic., title, tax, doc fee, AND I was slightly upside down on my trade. Really, I got quite a good deal.

Waiting for my survey...

What I find sad about this situation is that my salesman told me about a survey on his customer that came in with scores less than perfect, but generally in the 9-10 range on all questions. He told me that his manager ripped him for this. What kind of management are they practicing anyway?

I was called two days after I bought my P5 by the salesman asking how I liked the car and if there was anything that I noticed or had questions about. He seemed genuinely interested to make sure that I was happy with my purchase.

The next day, I got a call from the owner/manager of the dealership asking me to call them back. I did and was prompted into a voicemail system that thanked me for my business and asked that I leave a message if there was anything that I didn't like about the dealership and my purchase. Then the system reminded me that if I bought a Mazda, to please rank the dealership all 10s on the survey...

That bummed me out a bit. Here I felt they had done a great job of selling me the car and following up to make sure that I was happy, then they prod me on how to answer the survey. I haven't received it yet, but plan on being honest in my responses. Probably mostly 10s, but the prep missed some very easy things that should have been taken care of (like decals on the rear lights, footprints on the interior door panels, etc.). Not a big deal, but the dealer needs to focus some more attention on the prep.

I would recommend the dealer to anyone buying a Mazda and I bought there after spending two weeks visiting other dealers in the Chicago area. That should be enough customer satisfaction rating for them.

I've had the car for about 2 months. Just got the survey about a week and a half ago. I don't remember filling out my name or any info, so it must have had that already on it.

Angry

Man that had to suck when that fool called you at work. My salesman sucked too and even with perfect-flawless credit we had to wait for the finance dept for like 2 hrs before we could finish the deal, it turned out to be a crappy day when it should have been a happy day. I forgot all about that survey. I got it in the mail but havent filled it out yet, and i dont think i will now , even though it was just a phone call that is still pretty scary, I mean these salesmen do also have our addresses. Mazda Inc. defintely needs to make sure these salesmen dont know who the survey is coming from....

I did my survey knowing it wasn't confidential, and if the dealer AVG is below something they don't get an additonal Bonus. That is why they push you so much on it.

My Sales guys was great. Really did a good job getting me into the car, however, the Finance ***** really made me want to walk out. Took Personal calls about golf, insulted my credit scores, wouldn't explain certain things to me.. Overall not pleasant..

Anyways. The finance guy personally apoligized to me when I went in for my first service. This made me feel better, and when i go back to buy my next mazda, I hope he is still working there so I can give him a second chance..
